  1. GMHC CLIENTS SILENCED, RIVERA TAKE LEAD IN CAB COOPTATION

It is so sad that the Chair of the GMHC CAB, Manuel Rivera, is allowed to get his way by his bulling and diversionary tactics. His comments as to whether due process was afforded the Vice-Chair in his appeal process is unbelievable and delusional. Did anyone see Mr. Rivera at the major "Keep The Promise" march and rally in D.C. in 2012, or in Brooklyn last year? What about the World AIDS Day 2013 in Time Square or any GMHC sponsored WAD for that matter? Its amazing that he would reference my involvement with the National Action Network and that I was suspended by Rev. Sharpton. I make no apology for my advocacy. At least Rev. Sharpton did participate in the "Keep The Promise" March and Rally in Brooklyn and D.C. Where was Rivera?

Rivera has now assumed the position of Chief Mouth-Piece for the Weinberg campaign for CEO.

I repeat, the voices of GMHC clients has been silenced and the CAB has been hijacked with the help of Mr. Rivera. I invite all Stakeholders to the GMHC CAB Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2014,
    3-5 p.m.--446 West 33rd Street (between 9th & 10 Avenues)

If you have personal knowledge of this situation, PLEASE SPEAK UP! Please E-Mail any comments you may have to the Search Committee for CEO and Members of the GMHC Board at: 2014@gmhc.org
